The #1 way to ensure ALL of your students can THRIVE!
A 3 part virtual workshop to help 1st-3rd grade teachers with the ins and outs of guided math without the stress and overwhelm of it all.
There are 3 main obstacles that are keeping you from implementing guided math and small group instruction.
Your administration tells you that you need to be teaching small group math but they provide no training for you and tell you to just figure it out? #BeenThere
Your day is already jam packed with ALL THE THINGS that you don’t know how to fit it all in.
The materials you need to get started feel like they are non-existent.
It feels like there are so many things standing in your way which is causing you to...
Spend countless hours on Pinterest trying to figure it all out.
AND
Feel overwhelmed because you don’t know how to meet each student on their level.
Hey y'all, I'm Marcy!
If you’re new to me...I’m a former 2nd grade math teacher turned educational consultant and curriculum designer. I started my TPT journey back in 2012 as a side hustle. That experience led me to becoming a National Presenter for SDE, appearing at their National iTeach 2nd Conference for six years, joining the Teach Your Heart Out team, and partnering up with ESGI!
Before leaving the classroom to pursue helping educators full time, I spent 9 years perfecting my guided math instruction. The first time I tried math stations, I did it because my administration told me to. I was sent to a 90 minute workshop at our local service center. From there I really thought I could just go do it. #RealTalk It didn’t work. It was through trial and lots and lots of error that I developed a system that worked for me and my students. I never had any training. I was thrown into it with no training and am 100% self-taught.
Once I finally had a good set of routines and procedures in place, I started to notice a change in even my most reluctant students. They were beginning to LOVE MATH! Through the guided math format, I was able to meet each individual student on their level and give them what they needed most.
How?
Because I’ve spent years nailing down the essential ingredients to building a successful math block. I pride myself in being able to deliver resources and trainings to teachers to truly make your life easier, and I know I can deliver that to you today!

I’ve taken the highs and lows of my own experience and simplified them into small lessons you can start implementing RIGHT AWAY in your own classroom.
Let me give you the help that I never had.
PART
01
Guided Math 101
One of the biggest mistakes teachers make is not doing their research on what guided math REALLY is before they even get started. They think they can just do it. #AskMeHowIKnow
I’ll break down all 5 components of guided math and share some statistics that will probably blow your mind. You’ll leave knowing exactly WHY guided math is important and the value it brings to your instruction.
PART
02
Mapping Out Your Math Block
Managing all of the components isn’t as hard as you might think.
Inside this training, we are going to focus on creating a schedule for your math block, so that when you finish, you’ll know exactly what your math time should look like. I’ll share several example schedules with you AND help you create your own.
PART 03
Taking Action in Your Classroom
What is a rotation board? How many groups should I have?
There are so many different ways you can organize your classroom for math stations. On day 3, we’ll talk through some must have materials and tools you’ll need to get started and what your setup should look like to get the most out of each rotation.
If you're anything like me, you are a note taker and want to keep all your notes from the workshop in one pace so they don't get lost. Grab your favorite Flair Pen and jot down all your key takeaways.

It’s time for some #RealTalk.
If you’re students are not where they need to be…If you’re sick and tired of trying and not seeing student growth…If you’ve ever thought “My instruction is just not working”...If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and just don’t have the time to learn to do this on your own…
Then straight up?
It’s not going to change if you’re not in this workshop.
Because “winging it” and hoping it all works out is not the best practice for your students and they deserve better and so do you.
So… you in?
